1. Introduction
This document describes how to install SKIGEE in the following environments:
Operating System - Windows XP®, Windows Vista®, Windows 2003 Server®

It will explain what you need to install first, how to configure SKIGEE and how to use it in your existing application server environment and relational database.

What do you need to install SKIGEE? 
• You need an Internet connection.
• You need access to your PMS database, with User name and password.
• You need to know how to set environment variables in Windows (only if you are using an Oracle database).

1.1 SKIGEE Components
SKIGEE consists of the following two components:

• SKIGEE (Client) - SKIGEE client reads Guest details from SKIGEE Service and allows you to communicate efficiently through SMS with your Guests.

• SKIGEE Service - This service is a part of the install pack which needs to be configured on a single system that will be responsible for handling communication with all SKIGEE Clients and storing your local configuration along with the system logs.
